Janelle (White) Wolfe represented Berks County at the 1997 Miss Pennsylvania Pageant, where she presented a vocal selection entitled, "God Help the Outcast," from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and was the 1st runner-up to the Community Service Award. Her platform is "RAPE: Awareness, Prevention & Education," and her motto is "Break the Silence, End the Violence." Janelle made numerous appearances throughout her reign as Miss Berks County, including a meeting with Governor Tom Ridge. That meeting resulted in April 30, 1997 being proclaimed "Pennsylvania Purple Ribbon Day." Janelle has also held the titles of Miss Greater Lehigh Valley (1996) and Miss Greater Juniata Valley (1998). She and Rob Wolfe wed in July 1999. Janelle gave birth to Arden Olivia Wolfe in June 2004. She is one of the hosts of Comcast Newsmakers, airing twice an hour on CNN Headline News. She is also the host of Comcast Tonight.
