MISS BERKS COUNTY 1998
Jesse Dawn Haas, a Boyertown resident, was named Miss Berks County 1998. At the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant, she presented a contemporary ballet en pointe to the music from "Riverdance." Jesse was a preliminary swimwear winner and was selected as 1st runner-up to the Community Service Award. Her platform is "AGE (Adjoining Generations Everywhere) - Life Improvement for the Elderly." Jesse is currently a nursing student and is employed with Home Nursing Care as an in-home nurse's aid.
