MISS BERKS COUNTY 2001
Ketty Roman, a resident of West Reading, represented Berks County from November 2000 - 2001. Her platform focused on preventing alcohol abuse, and she performed a powerful rendition of "Man of La Mancha (I, Don Quixote)" during her talent competition at Miss Pennsylvania 2001. She was a preliminary talent winner and a "Top Ten" finalist. She is planning to earn her masters degree in music and pursue a career in musical theater on Broadway.
