MISS OUTSTANDING TEEN INFORMATION

Eligibilty Requirements

Contestant must be between the ages of twelve (12) and Seventeen(17)  years  AND   cannot  yet  be  a  high school senior to compete in the current pageant season.

Contestant must be Age 13 by the first  day of the  Miss Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen America Competition (June 18, 2011).

Contestant may NOT have graduated from high school prior to the start of Miss America's Outstanding Teen Competition in August 2010 EXCEPT for 16 year olds (or younger) graduating early.

Contestant may not reach the age of 18 prior to July 31, 2011.

Contestant must reside in, be enrolled in and attending classes on a full time basis at an accredited public, private or home schooling program.

Contestant cannot yet be a high school senior to compete in the current pageant season.  Contestant cannot graduate from High School before the start of the National Finals in August 2011 (Unless graduating early at Age 16 or Younger).

Contestant must satisfy at least ONE (1) of the following requirements:

Contestant must prove she is a Pennsylvania resident for the six (6) month period prior to the local pageant date.

OR

Contestant must be a full time student in a high school, junior high school or middle school located within the state of Pennsylvania who has already completed one semester of schooling in Pennsylvania during the last semester (Spring 2010).

Applications, Fact Sheets, Talent Request Forms and General Information for  the 2011 Miss Greater Reading Outstanding Teen Pageant are now available. All forms  are available  on  the website, by email or by regular mail. Also, please send in a head shot via email or regular mail.  If you wish to have the forms  sent  by email  or  regular mail,  please contact  us.  In order to be considered a  contestant  in  the Teen Pageant,  the  Application,  Fact  Sheet and Check for $100 entry fee must be received by deadline. Please note that  refunds will be given only if the pageant is cancelled or if the contestant  wins  an  earlier preliminary leading to the 2011 Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Teen America Pageant.  

Deadline for all application materials is October 16, 2010.
